The Poetry Lobby returns this month with its first reading of the year, taking place on Sunday, January 25th, at the Menlo Park Hotel in Galway, from 3 to 5pm.
The event will be hosted by celebrated Clare poet Anne Donnellan, who was speaking about the return of the series earlier this week on Galway Bay FM’s Breakfast Show with Jason.
Anne mentioned the Lobby will feature varied line-up for the afternoon, with readings from Alan McMonagle, Eleanor Hooker, Amy Abdullah Barry, and Marion Moynihan. There will also be an open mic session, poets invited to bring along their own work.
Admission is free, with donations welcome. The event is hosted in association with Poetry Ireland.
