GOCOM Radio’s Breakfast Show welcomed Galway playwright David Joyce and Arts and Community Liaison Joanna McGlynn to discuss the world premiere of A Personal Prism.
This powerful new play, set to debut at the Black Box Theatre in Galway on Tuesday 26th November, explores themes of friendship, resilience, and ambition through the lens of disability.
David shared how his personal experiences inspired the story of Lee Hanley, a young man navigating life in a small town. Joanna emphasised the production's commitment to accessibility, featuring captioning, audio descriptions, touch tours, and increased wheelchair seating.
Starring Matthew Nolan, Johanne Webb, Gerard Howard, and Eimear Finan, A Personal Prism promises to captivate audiences before touring Portumna on 28th November, and Tuam on 29th November.
