Galway Messiah Brings a Fresh Community-Centred Take on Handel’s Iconic Work

Galway is set to host a unique and powerful reimagining of Handel’s Messiah with Galway Messiah, a new community-rooted production created in and for the people of Galway. This special performance brings together amateur singers from across the city with a distinguished lineup of professional artists, all under the direction of Mark Duley.

Speaking to Jason Browne on the Breakfast Show, Anna Lardi said the production features a remarkable collaborations that will deliver a truly Galway version of the beloved seasonal oratorio inside the historic St. Nicholas Collegiate Church, in the heart of medieval Galway.
